Are you ready to step into a life full of meaning, purpose, and passion? Are you ready to serve, guide, and inspire others? Are you ready to truly be who you are and let your soul shine?
Not sure?
Not sure that the Integrative Dynamic Yoga Teacher Training is right for you? Here's what I recommend:
Take a class with me/Kamie and set up a time to meet afterwards to ask all of your questions. A Yoga Teacher Training is both a time and financial investment and I want you to feel confident in your decision and for us to be a good fit; we'll be spending a ton of time together cultivating a trusting relationship and engaging in a shared experience - I think we both want it to be transformative, positive, and joyful. After we meet, you can decide if this training is right for you. No pressure, I promise!

The confidence, strength and endurance I gained from the training has allowed me to unroll my mat anywhere and continue to seek and discover my heart's truth. I am still transforming as I teach classes now that are inspired by the IDY method. Kamie taught me as a teacher, that it's my intention to “serve-guide-inspire” students. Yoga begins with all the love you have in your heart.

It was a year of learning, exploration, and taking risks. I went in with a desire to better understand asana – check. I also approached the training seeking to discover a bit more about myself – check. I didn't go into the training, however, with a serious intention of teaching yoga – but I got that, too. I suppose I got more than I bargained for! Thank you.

Thank you Integrative Dynamic Yoga! Through these past 10 months I have reconnected with parts of myself, hopes, dreams, and losses and found a courage and confidence to move forward. I feel that I have “plugged” into an inner resource that I know is just the beginning of who I am and how I can serve, learn and grow.

My Reflections on Why...
Back in 2008 when I developed Integrative Dynamic Yoga and decided to offer Yoga Teacher Trainings as a Registered Yoga School through Yoga Alliance (initially as Northern California Yoga Institute), the idea came out of a personal loss; the energy of grief manifested into something powerful, beautiful, and juicy-sweet and yet, I had no idea where the path would lead me. The 2009 Integrative Dynamic Yoga Registered Yoga Teacher Trainings in both Chico and Sacramento proved to be a life altering experience. Little did I know that when I promoted the training as "guaranteed to explore your insides and challenge you in ways you never imagined…physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually" that it would apply to me as well. A theme for me over the course of the Trainings was a line from a song, "I used to talk with honest conviction of how I predicted my world." By the time we came to the end of our journey together, my life had literally been upended. Each Training weekend became an opportunity for me to live and practice my truth...to be my highest and best self, moment-by-moment...a way to express all the love and joy in my heart. One cannot come to the mat and leave the same person...once you open the door to awareness, you can't go back! When we learn to teach Yoga, we ultimately learn more about ourselves through every experience, every interaction, in every moment. It was truly an honor to be a student to these blossoming Yoga Instructors. Now I sing, "I'm gonna let my Self be lifted...I'm gonna let my Self be lifted." I am grateful for the students who have shaped my teaching and giving the platform and space for me to let my soul shine.
